Dr. Franck Brinkhaus is a senior Life Science Investment Banker with a strong 25+ years entrepreneurial background.He is exceptionally well connected to venture capital and private equity funds in the United States and in Europe and has also a strong network of potential strategic buyers on both sides of the Atlantic.

He was most recently Managing Director of Woodside Capital Partners, Palo Alto, where he specialized in strategic advice, corporate finance, merger & acquisition and capital raising for small and midcap life science companies. Dr. Brinkhaus holds a Master’s degree and a PhD in Economics.He is a permanent resident of the United States and holds Series 79 and 63 registrations.

Dr. Abo has over twenty-five years’ experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, with extensive expertise in leading translational science, drug discovery, preclinical and clinical development.

Dr. Abo is skilled at developing and executing target discovery and preclinical programs to support therapeutic development of small molecules, mAbs, proteins and stem cell therapy in multiple therapeutic areas including cancer, immunology, inflammation, IBD, Eye and bone diseases.

After his post doctorate training at University College London, Dr. Abo joined Onyx Pharmaceuticals where he established and directed the inflammation program.

Later in his career at Nuvelo Inc. he lead the Wnt and leukemia programs.  In the last few years Dr. Abo managed a large portfolio in translational and clinical Phase I/II programs in regenerative medicine at the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine.

He published his work in first tier journals and his work lead to unravel the molecular basis of two human genetic diseases.

Dr. Michael Weickert is S.E.A. Medical Systems co-founder, Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer since 2008. He was Chief Business Officer at Corium International, Inc. an established transdermal drug delivery company, and StrataGent Life Sciences, Inc., a drug delivery startup, where he managed marketing, business development, finance and worked on the merger of the two companies. He personally initiated and negotiated investment rounds (Seed through Series C) and partnerships worth more than $175 Million.

Dr. Georg Roth has over 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. He is the founder of Roth Bioprocessing Consulting (RBC), an international consulting firm advising clients on all aspects of product development and manufacturing.

Recently, Dr. Roth was VP of Technical Operation at JennerexBiotherapeutics responsible for the development and manufacturing of oncolytic viruses. Prior to establishing RBC, he was Director of Technical Affairs at Dynavax Technologies, responsible protein therapeutics and vaccines. Dr. Roth holds a Ph.D. and a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Technical University Berlin, Germany.

Dr. Glen McLaughlin an expert in medical devices has more than 20 years of taking products from concept to market that range from catheters to large scale imaging platforms. He holds over 30 US patents and has established OEM, distribution and research relationships both domestically and internationally with world leading institutions.
